Become a Volunteer

At Fraser Canyon Hospice Society, we recognize and respect that every individual possesses unique skills, talents, and interests.  For that reason, we offer a variety of volunteer positions from working with clients to community awareness and maintenance of our deck and rest area.

Positions range from short to long-term.  No matter what your talents or interests we have a role just for you!

Hospice Trained Volunteers (HTV):

This role requires the volunteer to complete our 30-Hour Basic Hospice Volunteer Training Course.  Once completed these volunteers are eligible to partake in palliative and vigil care.

Hospice General Volunteer:

These volunteers can contribute by attending to our gardens, fundraising and assisting in day-to-day activities.

Hospice Camp Skylark (HCSV):

These volunteers are needed for Camp Skylark for children and youth who are coping with grief. This is a one-day event for children and one for youth, twice a year.
