Grief Chat Coffee Group
This monthly Grief Chat Group is an opportunity to explore what Hospice offers as supportive programs for the individual, family and friends. Join us over a coffee to ask any questions you may have and see how we can support you. We meet at Starbucks Hope.
Comfort Calls
Comfort Calls (via phone or zoom) are offered weekly from a trained Hospice Volunteer to those who are not ready for grief support. The call will check to see how you are at a pre-arranged time for no more than 10-20 minutes.

This circle group provides support to those who are figuring out how to move forward in life while still cherishing the memories of your loved one. Topics covered include coping strategies, sadness, holidays and events, grief timelines, feelings and other life changes.

Camp Skylark
Camp Skylark is an annual, day-long bereavement camp for children ages 7-12 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. It began in 2005 with a group of dedicated and concerned Hospice Volunteers and staff who were dedicated to finding a way to help grieving children. Many of our hospice volunteers have experienced grief and loss in their lives.
Every year we hold our bereavement camp at Camp Squeah, a gorgeous area set amongst the mountains just minutes outside of beautiful Hope, BC. This peaceful, forested setting provides our participants an uplifting place to be supported in their grief.
